Glad to meet you!

I'm a Black, LGBTQIA, and Deaf Graphic Artist and Illustrator. My passion for the creative arts began when I was a little girl, picking up crayons. I'm interested in illustration and graphic design. Not only that, I'm also interested in fashion. I want to share my work with you so you can see what I've been doing since then. I started "LeejanArt" in 2018. Currently, I'm freelancing some work.

Why LeejanArt?

I'm a twin, so my twin is also deaf. We learned how to speak our names, so we tried pronouncing them. With my mother's help, she taught us how to say a simple word: Lee Lee. It was the sound of my name, Leah. Later, Lee Lee became my nickname for my twin.

"Jan" is a short name for Janet, which this name was my grandmother's name. She was a wonderful woman, and I love her very much. She passed away in 2001. I want to honor her.

Of course, "Art" is what I love to do and always will be. Art is a general term for various drawing styles, regardless of whether they are digital or not. It can be anything.
